With changing legislation within some areas of the UK, Laura Kay London Academy have joined with VTCT to offer their fully accredited Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation.

VTCT is one of the leading examining boards in the Beauty Industry.

Our qualification is both internationally recognised and government-approved. The VTCT Level-4 material will be given to you as part of your course (VTCT examination fees are included in your course fee)

More and more councils and local authorities are tightening up their requirements for their registration, and so it’s a good time to think about level 4 – even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage.

Laura Kay London offer continual free support for the entirety of your career in Semi Permanent Makeup.

The Micropigmentation Industry is very competitive, so for those wanting to stand out within the industry, the VTCT Level 4 in Micropigmentation will help to achieve this, as well as being recognised by all major insurance companies and council regulatory bodies.

It will show your potential customers that you take their health and safety seriously, and are working in conjunction with all possible regulations for their benefit. You also demonstrate your competence by virtue of the fact that you have completed assessments of your work via various examiners and industry experts – not just your training company.

Being able to display the VTCT badge and logo on your tunic, and also your marketing materials, is seen as a real privilege. Laura Kay London are proud to be involved with such a high-caliber governing body, to take you forward in your career.

Gaining a qualification with us enables you to have a huge earning potential! The cost of a treatment being on average £18, we recommend charging potential clients £300+ so if you were to only do 4 new clients a week you could potential earn £60k + a year working 1 day a week.

On this course we focus on 3 main areas

1

EYEBROWS

You will learn how to create perfect hair stroke eyebrow as well as learning the powder and block eyebrow.

2

EYELINER

You will learn how to create a subtle lash enhancement as well as top and bottom eyeliner.

3

LIPS

You will learn how to create the perfect lip countour (lip liner) and how to master a lip blush.

These are the most popular treatments and having this skills will give you a great start in your new career as a permanent makeup artist!

A 5-day course in which you’ll learn everything you could possibly need in order to become a permanent make up practitioner. This includes the techniques for eyebrows (powder, hair strokes and block), lips (lip blush and liner) and eyeliner. You will also learn about colour theory and anatomy.

Theory and technique is taught throughout the first 4 days when you will initially practice on rubber skin and then move on to working on live models, provided by the academy. You will learn Laura’s fine hair stroke technique to create natural looking “real” eyebrows, as well as learning the powder block eyebrow technique. You will also learn how to apply top & bottom eyeliner, lash enhancements and a perfect lip contour and blush.

After your 4 days of training, you will go away and complete 12 case studies, 4 for each treatment you’ve learnt. Your portfolio of work is then assessed. The 5th day of the course is your live assessment. If you are successful you will then receive your diploma.
